I called them late evening the night before the visit. The person on the phone asked me what the issue was, I told them how our door was not functioning and told him the make and model of our motor. He stated he could send a repair tech out for $75 dollars. Okay great. Send out tech, he is in my garage for all of 2 mins to tell me those motors can not be repaired due to the age of the motor. I don't mind paying the fee if there had been a service performed. So I paid $75 for an estimate, their website says estimates are free. If this particular brand is not -repairable why send a tech and not just tell me that via the phone. Second issue they quoted me near 1000 for a specific motor. I have never delt with garages or what the prices typically are. So i decided to call around, understand all company's will be different prices but for the exact same motor and install they change nearly more than $500 compared to 4 other company's in the Louisville area.

Absolutely amazing! Car and garage remote was stolen. I thought i needed a whole new motor and remotes but after the company came out, they were super honest and told me I just needed new remotes/code, saving me a huge cost. Highly recommend this company!

Shawn Hull was my Technician who came out to inspect and fix my garage door. He was awesome! A personable young man. He went over everything with me as he was inspecting and tried to fix the existing garage door opener; but it needed replacing (after 25 years). He had a quote ready quickly thereafter and was knowledgeable about the product when I asked questions. He ended up having to stay much longer than anticipated and in this heat that could not have been easy. Through it all, he was professional. I found Precision online and loved the ease of website and prompt response from their team on the phone. Scheduled an appointment same day and service technician actually called early to see we could meet. Upon arrival Cam (Service Tech) was extremely polite, explained in detail what steps he would take after assessing the problems with two garage door openers. We called Precision to repair our garage door based on the favorable Online reviews, which I am happy to report were totally accurate. Our technician, Thomas, called when he was about 30 minutes out from our house, and he arrived on time. Thomas examined our door and all the mechanicals and quickly determined why the garage door opener was not working. There was also an issue with the spring, which was worn out since it had never been replaced. Thomas showed my husband and me two different quotes in writing, one with just repairing the door opener, and the other with repairing the door opener and also replacing the spring. We felt that both quotes were very reasonable and in-line with industry prices. Thomas was Very detail oriented and my husband was impressed with his knowledge and the care he was taking with our property. We will definitely call Precision again if the need arises, and we feel very comfortable with recommending Precision to our family and friends.
