We bought our garage door and opener system from Precision several years ago and have been pleased with the products and their service. This visit was to repair a broken spring (we use this door a lot) and replace an outdated remote keypad. Dakota was prompt, respectful, and did excellent work in a very reasonable period of time.

I used Precision previously for a broken spring and I returned to Precision again when my garage door opener needed to be replaced. The team was very helpful, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. My replacement was extremely quick and I was back into my day much earlier than I anticipated. I definitely will look to Precision for my next garage door need and I recommend them to those I know.

Rick, I am shocked at the price that we were charged for a simple repair of our garage door. $300 an hour is outrageous and then to be charged the $89 on top of that is highway robbery! We have used Precision before but will Not in the future. When I spoke to the receptionist about the fee to come out to check the problem, she led me to believe that if your company did the work we would not be charged.

I chose Precision because they are Veteran owned. I have used them for probably 15 years. They are fast, efficient, and friendly. I always appreciate that the response is usually the same day if I call the first thing in the morning. I don't think anyone likes not being able to get out of their garage. I got the sensors replaced and had a maintenance service while the technician was here. I highly recommend them if you need garage door repairs!

Unusual,Dakota did a good job,but the price Quoted by phone from your office was 499.00.Dakota quoted the price was 735.00 said office didn't know you were not carry that opener any longer just read a script. Told Dakota very bad business to miss quote price ask to call supervisor then he said he would do the job for 499.00 Weird. Then three different phone calls asking about the job yesterday Very unusual

We called you because you put in a new door for us 9 years ago and we received good service. You responded this time quickly but you upsold us on items we didn’t need and/or way overcharged us on them. For all the work you did a comparable company would have maybe charged us $750 but you charged us $1487. Your technician said other companies would be comparable to the $1487, however, when I called another company this morning they would have likely just installed the springs and bearings and charged us less than $600. We felt trapped into using you and not getting other quotes yesterday because your tech was already here and you charge us for $90 for just showing up. The total parts that were used on this job probably cost PGDS less than $150, so basically we were charged over $1300 for a 2 hour labor and overhead job, which is not comparable to the market. On just the 12 rollers alone you charged us $360 installed and I could have bought the identical 12 rollers for $25 total and installed them myself in 30 minutes. Your cost on these I would suspect is less than $20 and it likely only took your technician 10-15 minutes to install. Bottom line is I let my family down by trusting your company to give us a fair market price. Please call me 502-415-2325 to try to make this right for us financially. Thank you.

He not only repaired my garage door issues but also helped get my car back into the garage after getting it stuck in the snow/ice that has taken over my alley. I have used Precision Garage Door before. They were there at the time that they said they would be and that is important. The technician was knowledgeable and courteous, able to answer questions. Dakota replaced the broken spring and made adjustments to the door opener like a pro. GOOD JOB!

The technician called me in advance of showing up, he was polite and friendly. One of my garage doors wasn’t working properly. I’ve used Precision before so I went with you again. It was expensive and unexpected for me to have to pay $1402. The technician was nice and helpful. I only wish you guys had a same as cash option so the payout wouldn’t have been so painful.

Dakota was great! He was able to fix our garage door issues. It appears our issue is with the Genie side wall mount system itself. I would highly recommend not purchasing that model. It has not worked properly since it was installed on a new construction home. Precision was the only company listed to do Genie repairs near us and they were still 30+ mins away. I don’t know if it was the travel distance for the technician or what, but I do feel like the repair bill was excessive to reprogram wall mounts, set tension & rewire cables. No new equipment was purchased. Just glad to have working garage doors.

Saturday of Labor Day Weekend & my garage door wouldn’t open. I googled and found Precision Garage Door Service. I was pleasantly surprised to learn someone would come that day when I called. Dakota arrived, assessed the problem & less than an hour later I had a new garage door opener along with all of the necessary accessories. Absolutely thrilled with how quickly I was able to have a resolution to my problem! Excellent customer service! Huge thank you to Dakota for working on a holiday weekend!!
