I am 83 soon to be 84. I retired from work at 55. I started my work career with GE Appliance Div. Customer Svc. Division before Computers. I went thru the process of the transition of converting this process of pencils to computers. We had 53 identical buildings with people, parts, call tackers, salesman ,, credit people, secretaries ,kitchens, display floors for Appliances, warehouse with workers there, advertising people, a teller to handle wholesale customers, which that is who we sold Appliances to not retail customers, a lot of people to handle their into US. I started in the 1960s' retired in 1990s' . It took 20 yrs. to go from 53 order taking locations to 1. When we startred this process we said lets try computers in a few places and see how it goes. we'll go from there. In order to stay working for GE if they were pleased with my work I had to move my wife and family 4 times to other location thru out the US I started in Louisville, then to Cincinnati, then to Kansas City, Ks., then back to Louisville where I retired from. I retired from the same Co. I started from as Operations Mgr. for the National Customer Svc. Ctr. with 420 approx. workers in 1 & 1/2 bldgs. doing 6 1/2 Billion $$.s worth of business annually.

My car was stuck in my garage due to a broken garage door spring. I went online and scheduled a same day appointment. The service techs were at my home exactly when I had scheduled the appointment. How wonderful! Both of the service technicians were very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. My garage door was fixed very fast and the entire process from the on-line scheduling through job completion was easy, fast and hassle free.

They always respond quickly . My time frame was 12 to 4. They call at 945 and say they are on the way. Just needed a new remote that quit working . They gave me a new one for 140 dollars. Was not happy withe the service for that. The technician was courteous and polite. Just thought that was a little pricey. They have done great repairs though in the past. . They call at 945

On 7/17/2026, I tried to open my garage door and something happened to have the halfway up door to come crashing down. The big spring had broken and the cables became disconnected. I couldn't lift the door to get the car out. I called Precision to get an estimate of getting it fixed. They said the service call would be $88 and a new spring would be $180-$200. They arrived about 3pm and their serviceman, Trey Martin, looked at the damage. He asked me if I wanted one or two new springs (the second spring would become a backup if the spring ever broke again), and if I wanted to have new rollers installed. I told him to install one spring and to replace the old rollers. It took Trey about one and a half to two hours to do the repairs and finish the job. The bill was $850 and I paid by debit card. The one bad side problem was the crash caused damage to the opener drive so that the opener only drives the door up. To lower the door, I have to pull the rope to disconnect the opener and lower the door by hand. To fix this would be to replace the opener at a cost of $1200. I couldn't afford this so I will continue to lower the door by hand. Precision did a great job, arrived as they said and finished the job in a very reasonable time. I would certainly use them again and would recommend them.

Being a veteran was one reason for call second seen commericals before.didnt take techs long to figure out the issue on door motor. I will always give business to veterans who own a business. Techs were curteous and proffessional and helpful on issue with door i had already figured it was a relay or electical issue from messing with it .timing to address issue was quick and also being local helps a lot

I did want to share some feedback regarding the process. I did not get the option to choose which motor I wanted for my garage door. On Thursday, July 2, the belt broke on my garage door opener. I call Precision Garage Door Service, as they had repaired the springs on this same door in 2025. I informed the receptionist who answered the call what the problem was. She had an appointment open the next day at 10:00 Am to 2:00 PM. She informed of the service fee. The service fee included a 25 point safety inspection. "This inspection is necessary to diagnose issues and determine the safest and most durable repair". Since the belt had broken, I told her that the opener was a Chamberlain and offered to provide the opener model number. The receptionist said that the model number was not needed. When the technician arrived, he charged the service fee of $89.99. I showed him the belt that I had tried to repair. He then told me that on the way to my house, he called the store, and verified that he should still make the service call as he knew that he could not fix my opener. He came to my house, told me that he could not fix my garage door opener, but he could replace my opener for approximately $800. I called the store to dispute the charge for the service call, and was told I had to talk to the "manage" who was on the line with another customer. I was told the the manager would call me back. Four days later, I have still not heard from them. No service was performed. They had another opener they wanted to sell instead. What a scam.

Grateful for the available service on a holiday (July 4). Garage door chain broke on old opener and decided to choose a belt drive opener for the new install. So pleased with the quiet result. The technician Trey M was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. A super representative of your organization. He had an issue with some of the manufacturer product but he found a work around and got the new product installed. He was extremely organized and efficient!!!
