I have used Precision on several other occasions for the repair of our garage door opener. The technician usually calls and lets me know they are coming and upon arrival they take a close look at the unit and can usually take care of the problem. Today not so much, The technician did not call before he arrived and was just pure luck that I was home. I was showing him the problem and the first thing he asked was "How old is this thing?" I said 10 years or so and when he realized it was much older he went on into sales mode instead of repair mood. He went ahead and did the inspection on the door and when I came back out he had my sale options ready to discuss. I asked about repairing it, but he said it was beyond repair. If he hadn't told me that he was kinda new to this I would have just believed him and said ok lets replace it, but if he was not sure if it could be fixed then I put the brakes on the purchase and may contact another company for the repair. I'm not made I just want to make sure before I spend $700 to replace it instead of a $100 repair.

Your representative, Jason Wallace, was very nice and professional.. Mr. Wallace installed the new motor for the garage door and then demonstrated how to open and close it from the controller on my garage wall and from the remote control inside my vehicle.. He explained the warranty and gave me a receipt.. It was a very pleasant experience working with Precision Door to fix my garage door..

He in no way pressured me into adding additional repairs, just advised me that they were going to be needed soon. he fixed the springs and I had him replace the rollers, and he was a total gentleman. Precision completed a maintenance check on my garage door. The service tech was very nice and friendly. I was charged a $65 for the service charge and $88 for the maintenance. About 2 hours after the technician left, I was leaving my house and noticed a huge area of grease on my drive. I immediately contacted the 1-800 number and advised them. I was told the local office was not available and that someone would call me back shortly. After not hearing back from anyone, i called the local office 3 hours later and spoke to the manager, Rick, at the Clarksville location. Understandably, he questioned me as to whether the spot could have been left by another vehicle. I proceeded to tell him that I live alone, no one parks in my driveway, and the spot was not there the day before. He sent the technician back that evening with a driveway cleaner and pressure washer. Even though the spot was still there, I was asked to let it dry overnight. I did not hear from anyone the following day to check in with me. On the 3rd day, I sent Rick (the manager) a photo of my drive still showing the large spot. He has failed to respond in any way. I had my driveway and sidewalks professionally cleaned and sealed just last summer. The grease or transmission fluid that is present is about 20" in length and 5" wide so its a pretty big area. The fact that no one followed up with me or responded to my text message is very concerning. It is this reason that I will not use them in the future or recommend them to anyone.
