Well, precision means accuracy and exactness. When I called, the lady said that when the service person arrives, he would have everything on the truck needed to repair a garage door that day. I was impressed. No making another appointment next week while two vehicles were unavailable for use. Mr. Halibur was very knowledgeable and experienced and did a wonderful job. Also, that you for allowing me to pay the balance later in the month.

I called Precision because their ad said they would have someone at my house in 2 hours. When the garage door won't open, and your car is inside, you need help...fast! The repair man showed up even sooner than promised. We decided to replace the old wood door, all of the old mismatched hardware and the old, hadn't worked in awhile, opener. The door looks and operates great.

Brian did a good job getting the door to operate more smoothly. It had been starting and stopping and jerking and hanging up for the eight years we have been in the house. He found that the problem was in the way one of the braces was positioned. He built the brace out a bit and that seems to be the solution. It's not perfectly smooth now, but it's much better. There is a small wobble when the door is near the bottom, but I'm ok with that as long as it doesn't stop in the midst of opening or closing and as long as it doesn't hang up when first opening in the morning. Very impressed with the quality of work and how quickly my problem was handled. On a holiday the broken spring was indeed repaired in less than two hours after I placed the call. The technician, Brian, was very good. My only negative would be the shock of the cost. Very expensive.

They were able to set up an appointment on the same day I called. Brian, the technician, arrived promptly and listened to my explanation of the problem, made some adjustments, replaced the rollers, and installed a keypad - all for a reasonable price.

The spring broke on my garage door just before I could leave one evening for the airport to pick up my wife. I could not budge the steel door to open it to get cars out of the garage. While I could call my daughter to pick up my wife at the airport, I didn't know how to get her car out for her to go to work the next morning. Using the Yellow Pages, I starting calling garage door companies. Either they could not provide late service (even at an increased cost) or could not replace the spring that evening (requiring a service call the next day). When I called Precision, it was completely different. I received professional service from the dispatcher to the technician. Not only did they provide after hours service at no extra cost, but the technician arrived within a short time with a fully equipped truck. Total time from call to completion of service was less than 2 hours! The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and fast. He explained the options for the repair clearly. He replaced the springs (broken), added bearings (for better support), rollers (for less wear and tear), and cables (kinked). In addition, he explained the best way to lubricate the hinges. Precision's standard warranty is excellent (1-year parts and service calls, 4 more years parts). In addition, Precision offers a lifetime limited warranty option that was very appealing to me. My next call for anything that has to with garage doors (openers, springs, rollers, etc.) will be to Precision.
