A rib on the garage door broke on a Friday night. Could not get the door to close. Had to leave the door open all night. On Saturday started looking for someone to fix the door. First couple of numbers I tried were closed for the weekend. I saw the site for Precision that said they were open on Saturday. I called the number and got a very professional agent who said that they had an opening from 3-5pm and that Brent would be the technician. Yeah, yeah, I thought. Well Brent called at 3:30 and said he was 20 minutes away. When he got there he got right to work. He gave me two options. Repair the door with reinforcing rods - 3 would be needed at $70 a rod plus $48 for service call. Wow, I was impressed. Not only did he give me the options but told me the cost. The second option was for a new door. At first, I opted for a new door but it would take a week to get it and then another week to schedule. He said he would reinforce the door so that I could open and close it for that period. He reinforced the door and did such a good job that I opted to not get the new door. I could not have been more impressed with their professionalism and service.

Jason was efficient and professional and explained everything he did (and why it was necessary). The only negative is that he didn't do a great job explaining the pricing of the repairs. I was told that I would get the "package deal" (to save me some money), but I was not informed on how much money I was saving, whether there were other pricing options, or whether or not I really needed all the parts in the package. Also, the price quoted up front was lower than the actual final price (which is annoying). All in all, though, I was satisfied with the work and overall experience.

I have just had a WONDERFUL experience with Zack. He is VERY PROFESSIONAL and knowledgeable. I'm old and don't know what all he did but, I do know I can use the remote and the door opens. He is a 10 - give him a raise.

The tech called ahead AND was early. He showed me the reason my torsion spring and cable failed. I opted for the 10yr warranty repair (no brainer) after he went over my options. Very professional and quick. It was obvious that he knew what he was doing. I hope I don't need your services again, but if I do, I will definitely call on you guys.

Absolute 5 star service!! Jason came out to replace a defective cable that was put on several years ago. He and the assistant in training that performed the work were very professional and a pleasant to be around. Jason was not only effective at the work he performed but made sure I understood everything and was at ease with the situation. I can't say enough how impressed I was at the quality of service displayed by Jason...he represented Precision very well, and Precision should understand that they are very, very, very fortunate to have him representing their company with the people in Louisville. Brett Schultheis came out yesterday afternoon, in the heat of the day, to install a new garage door opener I had purchased on Angie's List because I thought that is what I needed. As it turns out, I needed garage door springs. Brett explained that my new door opener would not fix the problem and completely explained the problem and answered all our questions. I did have the springs replaced along with all the new hardware and took the warranty. I also had the new garage door opener, a PDS 800 Premium Series, installed and could not be more pleased, it is the quietest opener I have ever seen. He took no longer than 3 hours to complete the entire job and was so pleasant to deal with.

I was VERY impressed with Precision Garage Door Service of Louisville! I had a major issue (broken garage door spring along with some other minor issues) and was in need of service and repair quickly. I found Precision on the internet and called them. I was told that someone would be out to my house within a two hour window. My repairman Brett called me and told me he was 15 minutes out and ewould be at my house at 6:00 (i was told between six and eight), and he was. Brett looked over my problem and told me he could fix it and had the parts in his truck. He was very professional and helpful. I would recommend Precision, and Brett, to anyone.

We have had continued garage door issues and hired another local company who told us that we needed to replace the opener (that was only 4 years old). The Precision Technician arrived on-time and within a few minutes had a creative idea to solve the problem. The door has been opening and closing great for a week now. Thank you so much for great customer service! Brent came out to check a door he worked on in October 2014. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made a few adjustments. He also did a great job communicating what was causing the problem. Brent offered suggestions as to how I could remedy the problem myself to avoid future issues. Thank you for doing a great job! I am very pleased with the courteous service and garage door repair service provided to me by Brett, technician from Precision, and would rate him a 5. I also appreciated him providing maintenance service on my other garage door to prevent future problems and suggesting and installing a keypad for extra convenience in providing access to the garage for family members without having to carry a remote. The costs for the repair and other services was very reasonable and well worth it. I also appreciated the woman employee (do not know her name) who answerered the phone at Precision when I called yesterday afternoon to seek an appointment time for a technician to come to my home and to fix the garage door. She was very courteous and gave me an appointment for the next morning between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. I would definitely recommend Precision to others and would give tham a 5 rating without reservations.
