The spring broke on my garage door just before I could leave one evening for the airport to pick up my wife. I could not budge the steel door to open it to get cars out of the garage. While I could call my daughter to pick up my wife at the airport, I didn't know how to get her car out for her to go to work the next morning. Using the Yellow Pages, I starting calling garage door companies. Either they could not provide late service (even at an increased cost) or could not replace the spring that evening (requiring a service call the next day). When I called Precision, it was completely different. I received professional service from the dispatcher to the technician. Not only did they provide after hours service at no extra cost, but the technician arrived within a short time with a fully equipped truck. Total time from call to completion of service was less than 2 hours! The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and fast. He explained the options for the repair clearly. He replaced the springs (broken), added bearings (for better support), rollers (for less wear and tear), and cables (kinked). In addition, he explained the best way to lubricate the hinges. Precision's standard warranty is excellent (1-year parts and service calls, 4 more years parts). In addition, Precision offers a lifetime limited warranty option that was very appealing to me. My next call for anything that has to with garage doors (openers, springs, rollers, etc.) will be to Precision.

I rarely write reviews, but after positive experience with Precision-they deserve some positive feedback. After shopping online and comparing companies, I decided to go with Precision. I had a broken spring replaced and decided to have new rollers, cables, and bearings installed. My garage door is super quiet now. Brent Halibur arrived on time and was a professional in every way. I wish more repairmen had his work ethic. Hopefully I won't need my garage door repaired anytime soon, but If I do I'll definitely call Precision again.

Jeff was on-time. Called 30 minutes ahead of when he arrived. Went over the problem and solution. Knowledgable about the product. Started work and before you knew it he was done. Tested it several times for operation before his departure. Would ask for Jeff again.

Well done website with background checked and knowledgeable employees and same day service. The tech arrived well before the scheduled time, and he was not only polite, but professional and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. He did advise some parts be replaced due to extreme wear and tear as well as some safety items that I agreed were definitely needed. When I get to the point of replacing the whole unit, doors and openers, I will definitely call this company. Great company with excellent service. Thank you.

I had another company replace my solo garage door spring about 1.5 years ago and it broke again last night. Way too soon in my opinion. They had an opportunity to do it right but didn't. That company no longer does business in KY. When Jeff Hoeffner from Precision showed up, he explained that I needed two springs (not one) and new rollers on the door. He showed me the wear and tear on the rollers and I understood how the new ones would lessen the drag and the noise. After he fully attached two new springs, he was still not satisfied given the weight of my door. He then took the time to re-install heftier springs to "get it right". I am very satisfied with his work ethic and attention to detail. P.S. I am a retired cop and I appreciated the confirmation email with pictures of the technicians. You guys rock.
