Response and communication was easy, if you don't mind being ripped off! DO NOT CALL these people; for a simple, single garage door spring repair job ($300-$400), they provided 2 quotes, one was $988 and the other was $1,100. If you are in the Bardstown/Cox's Creek area, go with Bardstown Overhead Door; they charged $350 and gave me none of the run around BS.

The technician quoted me $786 to replace 2 springs and to lubricate my garage door. I paid the $65 service charge and sent the technician on his way. Called another service provider who agreed to do the same work for half the price.

Travis showed up on time after his courtesy call saying he was coming. He thoroughly explained his plan to replace the springs and the price. He worked efficiently the whole time. He finished when he said he would and then tested "everything". We now have a very quiet garage door.

Happy with the door but your prices keep going up and nothing has changed about the product. 499 for 3 remotes? I mean I can buy one and go buy two more programmable at Lowe’s for 30 dollars each. I build 5-12 houses a year and when I first started doing business with Precison my basic model door stated at 1200 then went to 1400 to now 1879 for the same size door and house plan. Can’t blame Covid on price gouging your clients. I’m switching company’s.

When our garage door opener started having issues, we contacted Precision Door Service. The PGD technician who performed our garage door repair was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. I did feel somewhat that we were being upsold on the more expensive of the 2 repair options presented (which we took), so time will tell whether we made the right choice.

Called this morning about a problem and service tech, Travis, was here by noon. Diagnosed the problem after we discussed what was happening, and he evaluated the door. Repair was done, and annual maintenance was completed within 45 minutes or so. The service visit was done safely, courteously and efficiently. As has been my experience with Precision in the past, it is the best in the area.

I called Friday evening and was able to get an appointment for Saturday afternoon. Justin called to let me know he was about 20 minutes away. When he arrived he was very professional and friendly. He assessed the situation and gave me several options, all of which were reasonable in cost. I opted for new doors which will be installed at a later date. Found your company on line. Listed as service representative for Genie products. Everything went extremely well from the initial phone call to completion of project. The technician listened to my problem, asked a couple of questions, and then offered his solution. He explained everything he was going to do, and then demonstrated that his fix would indeed solve our problem. I asked for an evaluation of what things he would suggest we address to prevent future problems and he explained what and why. I am a retired Design Engineer and know when someone is knowledgeable and truthful. This young man was spot on with what he told me, and I had him perform all of the work he recommended Any future needs I have in this area will definitely will certainly be given to your organization.
