I had another company replace my solo garage door spring about 1.5 years ago and it broke again last night. Way too soon in my opinion. They had an opportunity to do it right but didn't. That company no longer does business in KY. When Jeff Hoeffner from Precision showed up, he explained that I needed two springs (not one) and new rollers on the door. He showed me the wear and tear on the rollers and I understood how the new ones would lessen the drag and the noise. After he fully attached two new springs, he was still not satisfied given the weight of my door. He then took the time to re-install heftier springs to "get it right". I am very satisfied with his work ethic and attention to detail. P.S. I am a retired cop and I appreciated the confirmation email with pictures of the technicians. You guys rock.

Mike was the technician ans he patiently explained the problem - broken spring - and the options for repair and replacement of the 50 year old door. He offered his opinion after I requested it. After an initial attempt to talk about purchasing upgrades and warranties was met with a firm response, Jacob went straight to work and wasted not one minute until he had installed the new garage door and the new garage door opener. He is very young but was knowledgeable of what he was doing. All of the paperwork was in order and he demonstrated how everything operates. He cleaned up everything before he left. Jacob appears to be a good installer; we will know soon if the door and opener work properly after a few tries. I was impressed with his work ethic. He did not waste time talking on the phone or stand around smoking. Nice!
